National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is dedicated to achieving the highest standards of excellence in motor vehicle and highway safety, and works daily to help prevent crashes and their attendant costs, both human and financial. The agency strives to exceed the expectations of its customers through its core values of integrity, service and leadership. NHTSA looked to Schatz to provide communication support in order to get their safety message out to the public.
As the media support for Region 6, Schatz developed regional materials for states to utilize with the national traffic safety campaigns. These include:
The Schatz Team created new materials customized for each state within the region, including audio and print PSA’s, diversity materials, military materials, and various articles for print and web. Schatz provided media support, including writing and distribution of media advisories, talking points, press releases, and media tracking for state campaigns and events. For these campaigns, media databases were developed and utilized for distribution to a variety of outlets. In addition, Schatz provided strategies and recommended activities for the states’ many campaigns.
Region 6 has been pleased with the results and has added additional assignments to the company.
